Premise Liability

Premise Liability

The owner or operator of any place you may find yourself has a duty  to keep their premises in a safe condition. This duty applies to building owners, towns, transit operators, schools, stores, restaurants and anyone else who controls the area where you might be injured.  Typical dangerous conditions may include snow or ice on a sidewalk or staircase, a wet floor in store, a broken step or handrail in your apartment building, or any other dangerous condition that causes you to be injured.

It is important to remember that just because you have been injured on someone else's property does not automatically make them responsible, but a prompt and thorough investigation by an attorney experienced in handling premises liability cases can be the difference between your being compensated for your injury and your having to deal with your injury and medical bills on your own.  If you have been injured by a dangerous condition on someone's property or in a public place, please call Friedman, Levy, Goldfarb & Green, P.C. for an immediate consultation.  In no other type of case is immediate action more important than in a premises liability case, so do not delay.
